Conference Report
Association of Iranian Researchers, would like to announce its eighteenth
conference under the above title. During this conference, a ceremony will be
held to honor Mr Esmail Pourvali one
of the longest standing members of the Iranian Media and the present proprietor
and editor of Rouzegar Now, published in Paris.
Our aim, as always, is to discuss and look into as many different aspects
of the chosen topic. One of our objectives is to discuss the development and
growth of Mass Media in Iran and its future with a view to the growth of
Satellite systems and Internet.
We welcome the valued participation of all interested parties and experts
in the above conference. Please register your interest with any of the ACI
offices listed below by April 21, 1997.
ACI, maintains an impartial and an unprejudiced approach to all its
activities and respects all schools of thought. We work actively with colleagues
from all over the world, and hope to contribute to the creation of a scholarly
ideal of a community brought together by common intellectual interests and the
