'Iran in the threshold of the year 2000?'

'The Structure of a Civil Society and

The Establishment of Democracy in Iran'

Association des Chercheurs Iraniens, in pursuit of its fundamental studies of Iran?s present and future affairs, is holding its twelfth international conference in the series of  ?Iran in the threshold of the year 2000?.

This is to take place at the Lecture Theatre in the New Brunei Gallery at the SOAS University, London during 9-10 February 1996 under the specific heading of ?The Structure of a Civil Society and The Establishment of Democracy in Iran?

Subjects of discussion will cover:

1.         Study of the Structure of a Civil Society and The Establishment of Democracy in Iran

2.         Views of the various Political / Social groups on Democracy and its Implementation.
